We are collaborating with Costain, A-one+ and Highways England to create Smart Highways. Smart Highways are enabled thanks to our RedBite Asset technology and are designed to improve the efficiency and convenience of managing, monitoring and maintaining challenging highway assets. RedBite Asset is currently being used on a stretch of the A160 in Immingham to manage the maintenance of various assets which include lamp posts, road signs and gullies.
We have worked closely with Costain over the past year to provide a tailored solution to meet their specific needs and we recently joined some of the Costain team up in Immingham to assist with the deployment of the technology.
RedBite CEO, Dr Alex Wong submitted his grand idea “Building stories: one bit at a time” for the COINS Construction Industry Grand Challenge. On December the 8th, 2015, Alex joined fellow Coins Construction Industry Grand Challenge finalists at a gala dinner and awards ceremony at The University of Cambridge’s Magdalene College.
