Reduce Supply Chain Shipment Processing Time By 40-70%

RedBite CEO, Dr Alex C. Y. Wong delivered a keynote presentation at the IDTechEx RFID Europe 2010 Cambridge conference in September. Alex spoke in conjunction with Mr Wolfgang Schoenfeld from Sony Europe on RFID deployments across Sony’s supply chain from factory to the shelf. Sony uses the logistics management solution from RedBite called RedLog to track serialised cases and pallets across multiple organisations in the consumer electronics supply chain. This is the world’s first EPCIS based deployment of this kind and highlighted the ease of customisation, flexibility in system integration and speed of deployment demonstrated by RedBite’s products. Mr Schoenfeld concluded that it was possible to reduce supply chain shipment processing time by a significant factor of between 40%-70%.
